UCO public health students place first in national competition

A team of a few pupils majoring in community well being at the College of Central Oklahoma took initially place this spring in the 2022 National Case Research Competitiveness in Health and fitness Instruction. Fifteen teams from 8 universities competed in the occasion.

Staff associates included Moriah Contino, of Dubuque, Iowa Avery Geist, of Edmond and Michelle Romero, of Bethany.

“We are thrilled to see this workforce get the nationwide level of competition right after inserting to start with in the regional levels of competition last fall,” said Sunshine Cowan, UCO professor of public health and fitness and assistant dean of the UCO Jackson College of Graduate Scientific tests.

“They not only introduced amazing expertise to their option, but they also infused creative imagination and provided connections to answers outside of the rapid scenario.”
