A Filipino wellness worker reportedly retaliated from a girl who spat on her while using an N Broadway Express coach in New York City on Saturday.
Philippine Consul Normal in New York Elmer Cato shared data about the alleged incident in a tweet on Saturday that involved the hashtag #StopAsianHate.
“A woman picked on the erroneous Asian on the N coach this early morning,” Cato wrote. “She spat on her hand and wiped her saliva on a younger Filipino medical center employee seated up coming to her. She then saw a couple stars. Our kababayan [fellow Filipino] comes from a family members of boxing legends in the Philippines.”
When asked for further more remark, Cato did not share any added info, citing security worries involving the Filipino employee.
